Phasing Out SOFORT Payments on November 13, 2024
We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the SOFORT payment method. As announced in our previous communication in August 2024 (https://www.ccv.eu/en/2024/important-changes-to-giropay-and-sofort-payment-options/), SOFORT will be phased out by Klarna by the end of 2024. To ensure smooth and uninterrupted transactions during the busy end-of-year period, CCV will discontinue support for SOFORT on November 13, 2024.
This proactive measure is designed to prevent any potential transaction failures when Klarna disables Sofort. To accommodate your customers, alternative payment methods such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) are available. Please ensure these are active.

Emergency Maintenance AMEX/ELAVON Creditcards
We would like to inform you about maintenance that will take place on November 6th 2024, between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.
This maintenance is necessary to further improve our services and it concerns the payment method AMEX and credit cards that go through the acquirer Elevon.
During this maintenance the possible impact will be kept to a minimum.
If you notice anything special during this maintenance, we would like to hear from you. If necessary, you can send an email to ecommerce@ccv.eu, with the subject of the email: “AMEX/Credit cards Elevon maintenance notification”.

Apple Pay-Payment Processing Maintenance
On August 8th 2024, there will be maintenance on our Apple Pay-Payment Processing.
Starting time will be at 07:00 (CEST) and the maintenance will continue on different moments trough out the day.
There is no downtime to be expected, however in case of unforeseen events, Apple Pay transactions may be disrupted.

Please take note of Rapyd’s (Valitor) office opening hours over the Easter Bank Holidays 2024
Thursday 28th of March 2024 – Maundy Thursday
Rapyd’s offices are closed.
Settlements will be paid out in all currencies, except for DKK, ISK and NOK.
Friday 29th of March 2024 – Good Friday
Rapyd’s office in Iceland is closed.
No settlement payments are made on this day.
Monday 1st of April 2024 – Easter Monday
Rapyd’s offices are closed.
Settlement payments will only be made in USD, CAD and JPY, no other settlement payments are made on this day.
All outstanding settlement payments will be paid on Tuesday 2nd of April 2024.
Processing/clearing of batches will not be impacted.

The PayPal transaction traffic is now partially normalized.
On February 23rd, 2024, a hotfix will be done at 11:00pm to completely resolve the issue.
No disruption of transaction traffic is expected during this hotfix.

Migration Bancontact 3DS to Bancontact 3DS2
We would like to inform you about a new development within CCV, which will further improve our services: Bancontact 3DS2.
Bancontact 3DS2 is an advanced method of authentication, which further improves the security of online card transactions. Bancontact 3DS2 is also necessary, because the current Bancontact authentication solution, 3DS1, will be coming to an end.
We realize a smooth migration from Bancontact 3DS1 to 3DS2 is important for our merchants.
That is why we are executing this migration in phases, gradually transferring merchants to Bancontact 3DS2. The phased migration is going well so far and the final phase of the Bancontact 3DS2 migration has now started.
We would like to inform you that as of February 14, 2024, all Bancontact authentication will also be transferred to 3DS2. This will not cause any interruption to transaction traffic. For transactions that cannot use 3DS2 authentication, authentication with 3DS1 will still be possible after the migration.
While CCV will closely monitor Bancontact transactions, we’d like to hear from you if you notice anything unusual. You can send an email to ecommerce@ccv.eu with subject of the mail: “Bancontact 3DS2 migration”.
