Update PayPal API to v2

In this release, we are pleased to announce the addition of support for PayPal API v2 in CCV’s Online Payment solution. This update is necessary due to the deprecation and discontinuation of PayPal API v1, which is no longer maintained.

With the implementation of PayPal API v2, merchants can now effortlessly conduct sales and refunds through the updated API. We want to emphasize that this transition from v1 to v2 will be seamlessly managed by CCV, requiring no action from the merchants themselves. This upgrade has no impact on the existing integration.

By embracing PayPal API v2, we strive to enhance the overall stability and compatibility of our system, aligning with industry standards and providing a seamless payment experience for both merchants and their customers.

Add payment method logo in payment page on mobile phone

In previous versions, when accessing CCV’s payment page on tablets or laptops, the logos of the payment methods were visible next to the text. However, on smaller screens like mobile phones, these logos were not shown. With this latest release, we have resolved this issue, and now the logos of the payment methods are also displayed when the payment page is opened on a mobile phone.

Enhanced balance calculation for refunds

The balance calculation for refunds was improved by including new transaction types like CHARGEBACK, CHARGEBACK_REVERSAL, COLLECTION, and DISBURSEMENT. This ensures that the refund balance is calculated correctly, preventing negative balances, and providing better clarity for your refunds.
