Live Refund Balance Insights

In May 2023, CCV Online Payments enhanced your refund journey by introducing detailed insights into your refund balance via API. Today, we’re excited to bring this transformation directly to MyCCV.

Now, within the MyCCV dashboard, your available balance is at your fingertips. This enables you to make informed decisions before initiating a refund.

No more guessing! If you attempt a refund exceeding your balance, our system guides you with a clear error message, ensuring you stay on the right track.

The same API you’ve been using for balance insights has been optimized for MyCCV. We’ve increased the hourly limit to five, providing you with more flexibility. And, if you exceed this limit, an informative error message will guide you seamlessly.

This MyCCV enhancement aligns with our commitment to providing tools for frustration-free transactions. Dive in, explore, and elevate your refund experience like never before.

Insight into Expired and Erased Vault Access Tokens

With this release, we’ve addressed a common concern: understanding why a vault access token isn’t working. We’ve made it simpler for you!

Now, through the API, you can easily check whether a vault access token has expired or been erased. No more dealing with unclear error codes. If a token has expired, we’ll let you know. If it has been erased, you’ll get that information too.

This means less frustration for you and fewer unnecessary support calls. You now have direct access to the status of your tokens and can take action if needed.

Authorize and Capture with CCV Cloud Connect

We’re excited to announce the ability to authorize and capture credit card payments directly through the CCV Cloud Connect terminal. This functionality, standard in OPI, is now extended to API integration of CCV Online Payments.

Explore the impact of this feature through real-world scenarios:

  • Enhanced Rental Experience:

In the vehicle rental industry, businesses can now seamlessly authorize a deposit, ensuring the availability of funds. This involves initiating an authorization when the vehicle is rented. Upon return, the process is versatile. If the vehicle is undamaged, the open deposit is canceled. In the case of damage, businesses have the option to capture part of the deposit. Additionally, if a customer prefers to pay the damage amount with another card, a reversal can be used to cancel the open deposit. This flexibility significantly benefits platforms handling various vehicle rentals, improving the efficiency of both in-person and remote transactions.

  • Effortless Hotel Management:

Hotels managing deposits for accommodation and rentals can now benefit from a streamlined process. The feature allows for a card-present authorization, perfect for scenarios where a deposit needs to be authorized upfront and later released. Additionally, it supports card-present authorization with a card-not-present completion, ideal for finalizing transactions remotely or for foreign guests. This flexibility enhances the overall efficiency of hotel transactions.

This extension in CCV Cloud Connect’s capabilities is a significant advancement, offering businesses the flexibility they need to handle transactions effectively.

Important Bugfix: Improved 3DS2 Return Link Behavior

We’ve resolved an issue during the 3DS2 authentication process to enhance your checkout journey. Previously, when clicking the “return” link in one of the intermediary screens, it would open the return URL in a new tab, triggering the order processing on the merchant’s website twice.

Now, with our fix, clicking the “return” link won’t open a new page, ensuring a seamless and efficient order completion. We’ve also optimized the page loading speed, making your experience even smoother. Enjoy a more streamlined checkout process with CCV Online Payments.
