Accessibility Improvements: Compliant with the EAA

In preparation for the European Accessibility Act (EAA), CCV has enhanced its online payment pages to meet the required standards before the June 28, 2025 deadline. The EAA is a European directive that ensures products and services, including e-commerce platforms and payment solutions, are accessible to everyone, including people with visual, motor, cognitive, or hearing impairments. At CCV, we go beyond basic compliance and aim to create seamless, inclusive payment experiences for all users.
Our online payment page has been fully updated in accordance with the four key Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. Improvements include higher text color contrast and larger font sizes for better readability, fewer clicks and simplified flows for ease of use, and optimized performance for faster loading. For users relying on assistive technology, our payment pages now support keyboard-only navigation and screen readers.
Accessibility does not only benefit people with disabilities. It improves the experience for everyone. Whether you’re using a screen in bright sunlight, paying with one hand on your phone, or simply moving quickly through checkout, these upgrades provide a smoother, faster, and more intuitive payment journey. We have also made the interface cleaner by removing rarely used content and placing it inside collapsible “Details” sections, while improving icon sizes and visual consistency across all payment methods.
We are currently migrating all merchant payment pages to this new design and will complete the rollout before the June 28, 2025 compliance deadline. By aligning with the EAA, CCV reaffirms its commitment to usability, inclusivity, and future-proof digital experiences.
