Apple Pay: Bancontact
We’re excited to introduce a new addition to our payment methods lineup in CCV Online Payments: Apple Pay for Bancontact. Earlier this year, we introduced Apple Pay to our platform, supporting Mastercard and VISA (credit and debit) transactions. Now, we’re extending our support to include Bancontact, further enhancing your customers’ payment options.
While Apple Pay for Bancontact offers a convenient and secure payment method, please be aware that not all issuers currently support this service. This means that availability for consumers may vary.

PayPal Recurring (coming soon)
Customer demand for convenient subscription-based payments is on the rise. To meet this demand, CCV Online Payments will soon offer PayPal Recurring as a payment option. This feature allows you to set up recurring payments or subscriptions through the PayPal payment e-wallet. By implementing PayPal recurring, you can boost customer satisfaction, revenue predictability, and overall user experience. Stay tuned for more information about this valuable addition.
Bancontact 3DS2 (coming soon)
With the imminent end-of-life of Bancontact 3DS1, we’re thrilled to introduce Bancontact 3DS2—an advanced authentication solution designed to enhance the security of your online card transactions. We understand the significance of adhering to the Payment Services Directive (PSD2) while maintaining a seamless experience for your customers.
CCV is committed to a smooth and gradual transition. We are currently formulating a migration plan to ensure all our esteemed merchants seamlessly migrate from 3DS1 to the enhanced security features of 3DS2 well before the deadline of Q3 2024.
Important Bugfixes
We’ve addressed an issue where customers experienced a brief redirection to an old URL (https://redirect.jforce.be/landingpage) before being directed to their intended customer URL. This redirection has been eliminated in this release, ensuring a seamless transition directly to the customer URL.
This fix will help to further eliminate checkout abandonment, because abandonment can often arise when shoppers encounter unfamiliar URLs during the payment process. With this bugfix, customers can now enjoy a more secure and trustworthy checkout journey, enhancing their overall shopping experience. Your customers’ confidence is important to us, and we strive to provide a seamless and secure environment for their transactions.
