In October 2025, a new version was released which brings important additions to our suite of payment tools, and we are excited to offer it to our users. Improved Customer Feedback for All Payment Methods
Following the August update that enhanced transparency for card payments, we’ve now extended the same improvement to all other payment methods. Customers will now see a clear result screen (success, failure, or timeout) before being redirected back to the webshop, reducing confusion and improving the overall checkout experience.
Third-Party Authentication
Normally, CCV performs the 3D Secure authentication as part of the payment process. In exceptional cases, when the integrator is fully PCI-compliant, hosts their own card form, and performs their own 3D Secure authentication, they can now send both card and 3DS data to CCV in a single step. CCV will then forward the payment directly to the acquirer without an additional authentication step. This option is only available if it has been agreed in advance with CCV and we have received valid proof of PCI compliance. This enhancement speeds up the payment process for the end customer and gives integrators more control over their payment flow. The submitted 3DS data is visible in MyCCV, just like in standard transactions, and the feature can be configured per payment method.
Improved Release Process
We’ve optimized our internal release process, allowing us to deliver updates more frequently. This means bug fixes, security improvements, and minor feature enhancements can now reach users faster, without waiting for the next monthly release.
